Vermont Department of Education

Vermont Student Assistance Corporation
VSAC’s mission is to serve Vermonters and Vermont schools. VSAC loan applicants must be one or more of the following in order to obtain a VSAC loan: a Vermonter, or borrowing for attendance at a Vermont school, or an existing VSAC borrower.

Vermont Department of Labor
VDOL's primary focus is to provide services that assist businesses, workers, and job seekers.

Northeast Kingdom Learning Services

Northeastern Vermont Development Association 
NVDA serves the 55 municipalities in this northeastern corner of Vermont as the Regional Planning Commission. We assist with regional and municipal land use and Transportation Planning.

NVDA also serves the businesses in the Kingdom and encourages sustainable economic growth as the Regional Economic Development Corporation.

Northern Community Investment Corporation
As a private, non-profit, community based corporation, NCIC strives to generate and preserve employment and other social economic benefits for the region. This is all done by the prudent investment of its own resources and hardworking staff.

NCIC provides not only capital, but also professional assistance for a wide range of business and community development and investments.

Workforce Investment Board
The State of Vermont has increased funding for workforce development, and state of Vermont regional Workforce Investment Boards (WIB) will oversee the use of these funds. The Northeast Kingdom WIB’s mission
is to provide leadership and support for workforce development in collaboration with employers, educators and employees. The Northeast Kingdom WIB is not an education provider. Its role is to gather education and training requirements, and assist in making the necessary training and funding available to businesses and industry in the region.

Vermont Adult Technical Education
Vermont Adult Technical Education Association is an excellent resource for businesses, students and individuals seeking high quality, affordable education. These programs are taught in our 16 regional centers across the state of Vermont. Programs offered include everything from health care, such as a Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) certification to Machining and Information Technology.
