Vermont State Electrical Apprenticeship Program

Designed by Vermont Technical College, this program is offered at the St. Johnsbury campus to allow career-oriented electricians the opportunity to participate without having to travel to VTC for classes. Four different levels of class must be completed in order to apply for a journey worker license exam. Each class consists of 144 hours of class time and 2000 hours of related on-the-job experience working under the supervision of a master license.

Classes in ELECTRICITY I and ELECTRICITY III will begin on September 9 and run on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuition is $525 for a student that is not registered with a sponsor. If the student is a registered apprentice the cost of the class is $425. Tuition and books are eligible for VSAC non–degree grants.
