Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)

This class prepares the students to care for the sick and elderly under the direction of a Nurse. It is also an entry level paraprofessional position in the health care field.

Upon successful completion of the 124 hour course, students will take the state registry Exam. Those passing the exam will be assistants, carrying out basic nursing function.

Documentation needed:
- Back Ground Check
- Physical, Hepatitis, B Vaccination & negative TB Test

Additional Cost:
- Book: $50 (paid to Lyndon Institute)
- Application & testing fee: $20.00 (paid to the state of Vermont)
- Testing Fee: $109
(paid to D & S Diversified Technologies – no personal checks)
- Uniforms & shoes
- Wrist watch with second hand
- Retesting & extra tutoring
